Dr. Jay Magidson, founder and president of Statistical Innovations Inc.. His clients have included A.C. Nielsen Co., Chemical Bank, National Geographic Society, and Pfizer. He taught statistics at Tufts and Boston University and is widely published on the theory and applications of multivariate statistical methods. Dr. Magidson designed CORExpress®, XLSTAT-CCR (co-developed with Thierry Fahmy), SI-CHAID®, GOLDMineR®, and is the co-developer (with prof. Jeroen K. Vermunt) Latent GOLD® and XLSTAT-LG (with Prof. Jeroen K. Vermunt and Thierry Fahmy).
Dr. Margot Sijssens-Bennink, former PhD student of prof. Jeroen K. Vermunt (co-developer of Latent GOLD®) and now working at Statistical Innovations Inc.. She wrote her dissertation on “Micro-Macro Multilevel Analysis for Discrete data” so her expertise lies in Multilevel Latent Class Analysis. Several chapters of her dissertation are published in high-impact journals such as Sociological Methods and Research and Journal of Educational and Behavioral Statistics. With a Bachelor in Human Resource Studies she is also specialized in analyzing HR data to improve business performance. She won the Best Junior Oral Presentation award at the 2011 International Meeting of the Psychometric Society in Hong Kong and has gained a lot of experience in teaching qualitative and quantitative research methods.
