Terry Flynn
Terry Flynn is an economist who specialises in the use of choice experiments in informing public policy. He leads the social policy and economic evaluation stream at CenSoC and has gained recognition of his methodological work on public preferences. He is an international expert in the use of best-worst scaling (BWS) in discrete choice experiments. Dr Flynn is also renowned in the use of DCE methods to value quality of life instruments. Dr. Flynn is a lead researchers on various projects funded by Australian and international organisations. He collaborates and publishes with top international researchers in the fields of mathematical psychology, health and environmental economics and has appeared in Australian national media. Dr. Flynn has taught short courses in discrete choice experiments at the University of Bristol and has contributed to the health economics module presented to medical students.
